The now highly anticipated Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is set to launch later this year for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC. This could be a smash hit, and fans might even be reserving their copies now.
Along with the reveal of the game, Ubisoft has also opened up pre-orders for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. It even showcased the special editions that fans and collectors will surely want to have. Here’s everything we know about those editions and pre-order bonuses.
Pre-order bonuses
Players can order the game on an array of platforms as early as now. As usual, reserving their copies early will net them a few special in-game rewards.
For now, the only bonus when pre-ordering the game is access to a mission called The Way of the Berserker. There could be other bonuses by other retailers, but we’ll likely see them only in the coming months.
Standard Edition
The basic standard edition will cost $60, and it comes with the game only. Pre-orders are available as the PlayStation and Xbox One stores, Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, and GameStop. For PC, the game is available at the Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store.
Gold Edition
The Gold Edition for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be available in digital and physical format. What’s different between the two is that the physical version will come with a physical steelbook featuring the game’s protagonist. The steelbook edition costs around $110, while the digital edition will cost $100.
The Gold Edition will come with the base game as well as a Season Pass for future content. If we are to look at Assassin’s Odyssey’s DLC, it seems like the Season Pass for this game will be chock-full of content as well.
Valhalla Ultimate Edition
The Valhalla Ultimate Edition comes with the base game and the Season Pass. If players order from GameStop, it will come with a steelbook for an extra $10 atop the usual $110 price.
This special edition will come with several digital goods. These are the Berserker Gear Pack, Berserker Settlement Pack Berserker Longship Pack, and a Runes for gear upgrades.
For now, it seems like fans will have to wait a while before they see other limited editions of the game. We’ve even yet to see one, including a collectible or figurine.
Considering Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was only revealed yesterday, we might see other special and extravagant editions within the coming months. As early as now, fans should begin readying their wallets.
