It seems like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is going to end this year on a high note. And now it has topped the new COD game in UK sales!
According to Eurogamer, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has outperformed the COD: Black Ops Cold War title. It has done that in physical sales figures in the UK. And it’s the first time in 13 years that a new Call of Duty release hasn’t topped the sales chart in the region in its launch week.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla vs. COD: Black Ops Cold War
Although Ubisoft’s latest Vikings title is a big hit in physical sales, it did get an advantage over COD. Because it launched earlier than the Black Ops Cold War game, and the figures for digital sales are not included in the current data so that the final situation can change drastically.
Apart from these two, there are eight other new releases in the top sold games in the UK. They include Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, FIFA 21, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and Demon Souls. Super Mario 3D All-Stars, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Minecraft, and Watch Dogs Legion are also there.
Meanwhile, there’s no doubt about the fact that Valhalla is a gem of a high-end video game. And Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is also a mesmerizing experience, continuing from last year’s Modern Warfare.
The best thing about these two is that both of them outshine their predecessors in terms of more improved gameplay and features. And die-hard gamers can’t ask for more when they get all these things in one of the biggest titles, in 2020, from Ubisoft and Activision.
