With ATEEZ’s songs reaching the top of the World Digital Song Sales Charts during the first half of 2021, the Rookie boy group becomes the second Kpop group to do the feat.
Billboard published the charts of songs and albums that week on July 19, local time, and ATEEZ landed in the Top 10 of the World Digital Song Sales Chart.
ATEEZ achieves a staggering Kpop feat in the famous chart
ATEEZ released their sixth extended play, Zero Fever Part, on March 1. 2, features the title track Fireworks (I’m the One) and the B-side Take Me home.
These two songs appeared on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales Chart in the week ending March 13th.
Fireworks by ATEEZ takes the No. 6 spots on the chart while Take Me Home on No. 16.
On March 24, the boy group released Into the A to Z, their Japanese-original studio album. It also includes the title track, Still Here.
The track landed at No. 24 on the World Digital Song Sales chart (dated April 3, 2017).
The group released The Real in the final round of Mnet’s Kingdom competition. This song was the third-place finisher on the competition show.
ATEEZ’s song The Real ranked sixth on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales Chart for the week ending June 12.
On July 11, the band released Dreamers, their first Japanese single. It will be the fifth ending score of 2020’s reboot anime series Digimon Adventure.
The latest entry by ATEEZ, Dreamers, is now on the World Digital Song Sales Chart. It occupied the No. 16 spot for the week ended July 24,
Although we are only halfway through 2021, ATEEZ has already topped the Billboard charts five times with five songs.
ATEEZ is now the second most-viewed K-pop group in the World Digital Song Sales Chart (January through July).
MONSTA X was the first Korean artist with 15 songs on Billboard’s charts.
ATEEZ (each four songs), SHINee, and SEVENTEEN are other K-pop acts that topped the World Digital Song Sales Chart.
ATEEZ’s Mingi talks about rejoining the group after hiatus
Mingi is an ATEEZ member who has officially rejoined the group on July 18. After taking a break from November 2020 because of psychological anxiety symptoms,
Mingi could not participate in the March album recording of ATEEZ’s return, but he did take part in the album promotion.
Mingi also participated in the recording of ATEEZ’s song for Mnet’s Kingdom, titled The Real.
On July 20th, ATEEZ Mingi spent time with his fans via Naver V Live. Fans who watched his live broadcast used the hashtag #EYESONMINGI on Twitter to express their joy at his return.
