Legendary Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak has been invited to holiday down under as part of a cryptocurrency experiment.
A government funded start-up in Australia reached out to the tech genius, after a Micky article mentioned his desire to travel overseas using only Bitcoin.
“My goal is to travel to another part of the world … and just take Bitcoin only,” he said.
The start-up that stepped in with an offer is Brisbane-based TravelbyBit, which is fuelling cryptocurrency adoption in Australia by enabling merchants to accept Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dash and more.
“Hi Woz,” TravelbyBit said in a tweet.
“We heard you’d like to travel to another part of the world with Bitcoin?
“Come to 1770 – Australia’s first crypto holiday town! And book your flights with TravelbyBit!”
