Avengers stars Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson will temporarily ditch their superhero roles for a romantic action film.
Avengers stars Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson will reunite again for a project in Apple TV+.
The stars from the Marvel Cinematic Universe will try a new genre as Evans and Johansson opt to be romantic this time.
In a report shared by Comic Book, it has been confirmed that the duo will star the upcoming film Ghosted. Apple Studios and Skydance, reportedly, will work together for the film, and Dexter Fletcher will grace it as the director.
Before Ghosted, the two already worked together in 2004 The Perfect Score and The Nanny Diaries. Every time they get the chance to be together, the two could not help but express their excitement about working again.
In 2019, Johansson and Evans sat together for an interview with Variety. At that time, they just wrapped filming the first Captain America film.
“You jump at the chance, but having been through it myself with a partner that I was with, who also had another big iconic superhero thing he was working on, it’s the pressure. You don’t know how it’s going to go, right? It seems ridiculous now, but it could be career-ending,” she said.

Chris Evans is happy to work with the actress, too
In the same interview, the actor revealed that he felt unbelievably lucky to work on something as broad as MCU.
Per Evans, it will be one of his treasured memories in his life. Although everyone initially thought that doing Avengers would cause uneasiness, everything worked out in the end.
The new update came after Evans conquered Twitter’s trending list, which left fans confused.
This week, his name seemingly appeared on the website during Cincinnati Bengals’ recent games. However, fans found out that there is actually an American football player whose name is similar to his.
Fans quickly shared hilarious tweets about the online confusion, with some even thought something bad happened to Evans.
One fan said, “Me checking to make sure Chris Evans is still very much alive and breathing after seeing him trending.”
“I don’t know why Chris Evans is trending, but I won’t pass up an opportunity to post a photo of him,” another wrote.
Another quipped, “I still don’t know why Chris Evans is trending but I’m not mad about all the pics.”
