Awaited ‘Battlefield 2042’ reveal leaves the fans disappointed

All the hype built up before the reveal trailer of Battlefield 2042 seems to have settled down quickly under a day itself.

If you wonder why then it’s due to the fan reaction received by the initial Battlefield 2042 cinematic trailer.

Fans are not happy with the ‘Battlefield 2042’ trailer.

Despite a futuristic and modern atmosphere showcased in the recently released trailer, it somehow failed to gain fans’ trust.

What they were hoping for before probably didn’t get delivered to them.

After EA and DICE‘s tease of the trailer’s countdown more than a week ago, many franchise lovers had huge expectations.

Eventually, what they had was, perhaps, different from their imagination.

Under the comments section of Battlefield 2042‘s official tweet containing the trailer, the users expressed their angst.

One fan came out and wrote that the clip was too futuristic and unreal. Another one said that the scene of a pilot ejecting out of his aircraft and firing a rocket launcher to blow another plane didn’t make any sense.

“Guess I’ll keep playing bf1 and bfv”.

Furthermore, another fan stated that it didn’t feel like Battlefield at all.

“Will try the beta, but honestly, I’m not holding my breath.”

More games coming soon

On the one hand, most gamers are not happy with the reveal of Battlefield 2042. And then others are looking forward to many upcoming titles.

Speaking of the fresh releases and potential blockbusters, then some of them are Halo Infinite and Dying Light 2.

New World, Little Devil Inside, the next Call of Duty entry, Horizon Forbidden West, and Stray are also on the list.

However, the vast line-up extends even further with Humankind, Deathloop, and No More Heroes 3.

Cyber Shadow, Shadow Warrior 3, Back 4 Blood, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, and GhostWire: Tokyo are other crucial launches.

Several recently announced projects debuting in the coming months are Glitchpunk, The Day Before, and Etched Memories. The latter will be a curious case for some players because it will have a Cat as the apex playable Biscuit character.

Coming onto Battlefield 2042, again, it will release on October 23rd, 2021.

What do you think about all the prominent games arriving later this year? Are you already excited about them?
