Episode 5 recap
Bakuten: Backflip Episode 5 showed everyone stopped their training to participate in the game of hide and seek.
The two teams used their school as their hiding ground and started by dividing themselves into groups and hid from their captains.
However, instead of being just a simple game, it featured more about their past stories. Though some said it seemed to be a filler episode, it dropped a lot of information about its characters.
There were talks about sports, an argument about idols, movies, and their pasts, per Epic Stream.
It perfectly weaved together different conversations about various subjects without making fans confused.
Despite the several talks, the biggest takeaway was the discussion about sports and their personal histories.
Fans learned when Misato started doing gymnastics and why he drifted away from it. The coaches, on the other hand, discussed something about Ao High coach’s leg.
