Ben Affleck, allegedly, has a secret Instagram account that only has three followers.
Writer Kelsey Weekman revealed that she was trying to see if Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas are following each other on Instagram. And she noticed a suspicious account that may belong to the Batman v Superman actor.
On her Twitter account, Weekman said that she saw de Armas following an Instagram account under the name “Ben.” When the writer checked the account, she noticed that it only has three followers.
One of the followers is Affleck’s ex-wife, Jennifer Garner. Other than the Peppermint star and de Armas, there’s another person following the account.
According to Daily Mail, it is possible that the account’s third follower is Matt Damon or Garner and Affleck’s eldest daughter, Violet.
Did Ben Affleck reference his movie with his secret IG account?
The Instagram account that may belong to Affleck uses the handle Positive Attitude Hunting. The publication claimed that this might be a reference to Affleck’s movie, Goodwill Hunting.
The bio on the Instagram account also seemingly suggests that it belongs to Affleck.
“Just a dad who sometimes makes movies. easterncongo.org,” it read.
Eastern Congo is, reportedly, one of the organizations that Affleck supports.
Despite the various claims made by the publication and Weekman, there still hasn’t been any confirmation that the Instagram account belongs to Ben Affleck.
The actor has a public Instagram account that is under his name, and it is also verified. Affleck is only following 67 accounts as of this writing. Some of the accounts belong to other celebrities like Gal Gadot, Henry Cavill, Jason Momoa, Janina Gavankar, Anne Hathaway, and more.
Jennifer Garner’s daughter is asking her about Instagram
Last year, Garner sat down for an interview on Next Question With Katie Couric. The 13 Going On 30 actress revealed how her eldest daughter asked her if she could have an Instagram account.
“My daughter is at an all-girl school, and it’s such a huge problem, and she’ll occasionally talk to me about getting Instagram, and I can see why, because I’m on there [Instagram]. It’s something kind of fun that I do, and I am modeling the opposite of what I want for her to do. How often is that in parenting?” Garner said.
Garner also said that if her daughter insists on having Instagram one day, she would need science on her side.
“And I just say, ‘When you can show me studies that say that teenage girls are happier using Instagram than not, then we can have the conversation.’ But everything you look at, I don’t see anything positive for you out there,” Garner said.
Ben Affleck and Garner’s eldest child will turn 15 on December 1.
