Ben Affleck, allegedly, wants to end up with Jennifer Lopez.
According to National Enquirer, Ben Affleck is ready to do whatever it takes to end up on the altar with Lopez. So, he’s, allegedly, been encouraging his former fiancée to elope to Mexico for their no-frills wedding.
The speculations surrounding Affleck and Lopez’s relationship started last month, shortly after the latter announced her split from Alex Rodriguez. Now, the tabloid claims to know all the details from the A-listers’ first meet-up after their divorce.
“Ben and Jennifer met up for drinks and it turned into a real sob session. They had a heart-to-heart about their failed relationships, and it reignited the spark between them,” the source said.
Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez hang out regularly
Shortly after their first meeting, Affleck and Lopez hung out again a couple of times before the former proposed the idea of a wedding.
“Ben wants to elope and has suggested they head down to Mexico for a quickie no-frills wedding. Jen’s looking at this as more of a fun fling between two good friends who have been through a lot emotionally in the past year. It’s really given her ego a needed boost,” the source said.
“Ben’s on a speedboat where this romance is concerned, while she’s in a rowboat. Jen just wants to relax and enjoy herself before making any future commitments,” the source said.
Jennifer Lopez not on the same page with Ben Affleck
While Ben Affleck is waiting for Lopez to give him a yes, he’s also, allegedly, helping her move on from her ex, Rodriguez.
“Jennifer and Ben got closer to getting married than she did with A-Rod. But she’s not ready for that kind of commitment that Ben is looking for – at least, not yet,” the source said.
Rumors debunked
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.
Ben Affleck hasn’t asked Lopez to marry him. After all, the exes have only been hanging out, but there is also no proof that they have officially gotten back together.
