Skyrim and Doom Eternal publisher Bethesda is reportedly working on a new title. And as per early rumors, it might be Fallout 5.
Although there’s no proper evidence of a Fallout 5 development, the latest job listings indicate that something big is coming soon!
Fallout 76 was the last entry in the series. It was released three years ago, in 2018.
Is ‘Fallout 5’ the new Bethesda project?
The current job position is for Bethesda Game Studios’ Austin location. It’s for candidates who can take up the role of server engineer.
The listing also mentions the position needs an “experienced team of developers who have a legacy of creating AAA games.”
Speaking of the Fallout 76 installment, then it was also mainly developed by the team at Austin. That’s even though the primary team is from the Maryland location.
Now, coming onto the rumors and speculation part.
At the moment, there’s nothing known regarding what kind of a game Bethesda is working on next.
Well, currently, it’s also working on Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI.
When it comes to Fallout 5, it’s been quite a while since anything has come from the publisher.
The new hiring for an unannounced title means either a fresh IP is in the works or some sequel to past entries.
Just in case if it’s a sequel, then what can be a greater one than Fallout 5, right?
Because Bethesda also knows that fans still love the franchise apart from the evergreen and beloved Skyrim.
As of now, there’s nothing else available about the new project. But avid lovers will be hoping for a major announcement whenever it’s made.
