Bethesda’s Starfield, the upcoming sci-fi game, will be a part of the Xbox series soon, according to new circulating reports.
A video game reported and industry insider who goes by the name of Jeff Grubb made the claims on Twitter while responding to a user who was asking about the clarification on the game’s exclusivity.
Starfield is only exclusive to Xbox and PC for now, as they are confirming. Grubb later said that they are initially doubtful about the game’s exclusivity, but they are allegations that he has to confirm this because the reports are not mutual.
Grubb, who also reports for VentureBeat, has subsequently reiterated his claim, which was made on the May 15th episodes of his GamesBeat Decides podcast.
He also has speculated that the game will be showcased at this year’s E3, and it will be likely to be released sometime in later 2022. The game’s alleged exclusivity is only there for all the Xbox consoles and PC that would not come as a surprise given Microsoft has made their recent acquisition of Bethesda.
Xbox chief Phil Spencer has said that they are working on future projects and games that can be released onto the platform, and that will be a useful adventure for all the players. Spencer has even said that they this time want to pick onto the differentiated experiences based on the platforms.
They want Bethesda content to show up as the best on their platforms,
Starfield is one of the most anticipated games as players are looking forward to various other characters than what has been promised. The main thing about Starfield is that this game will showcase and dive into the world of sci-fi adventures that come as a complete edge for the video game industry, provided most of the video games which are being released these days highly focuses on the idea of a playful experience.
In other news, Bethesda studio has announced that Elders Scrolls Online is set to receive a special next-gen upgrade based on what and how the players want their experience to be.
The developers at the studio have said that they are working on the upgrade, and it is going to be something that the players have not seen before. The new update, according to them, will improve the game’s visual fidelity and performance for all the players who play it on their PlayStation 5 or even on Xbox Series.
