The 1993 original movie Hocus Pocus starred Sarah Jessica Parker, Bette Midler, and Kathy Najimy as witches who terrorizes children.

Return as a cult classic

Despite the film’s short success, it gained recognition again when Disney started annually airing the movie during its Halloween season film lineup. The mater led the movie to be considered a cult classic and has a huge fan base.

Over the years, the film’s cast went on dropping hints about the sequel in works but never gave a timeline. Additionally, the witch sisters are gearing for a reunion on October 30, benefitting the New York Restoration Project.
