Beyonce has no upcoming film nor soundtrack project with Disney.
Beyonce is one of today’s most successful celebrities, especially in the music industry. Aside from her music, she has already taken a few projects in the film industry.
Last year, she lent her voice to Disney for the reboot of The Lion King. Following the completion of the project, rumors have emerged that Disney has a lot more in store for her. She is “in talks” to sign a “mega deal” with the company, according to The Sun.
Disney has three major projects for Beyonce
Beyonce recently made a surprise appearance for ABC’s Disney Family Singalong special. She reportedly sang Pinocchio‘s ‘When You Wish Upon A Star’ to raise money for the frontline workers amid the pandemic crisis.
Her latest appearance, alongside her good relationship with Disney, has sparked speculations that she is now “in talks” to sign a million dollar-worth of contract. This will reportedly place her in three major upcoming projects of the studio.
While sources told the publication of the matter, no details have surfaced about the deal, except for her alleged participation for the upcoming sequel of MCU’s Black Panther.
Black Panther 2 to allegedly welcome the artist
Black Panther 2 is set for a 2022 release, according to Cheat Sheet. However, this might reportedly move on a much later date due to the current crisis.
Despite overwhelming excitement at the prospect, sources tell me there is no big Disney film deal for Beyonce, and she will not contrib to the soundtrack for #BlackPanther2. As a self-professed proud member of the Disney family, it’s likely she’ll work w them again at some point.

While the premiere date and the rest of the film details have remained undisclosed, rumors have surfaced, alleging that Beyonce will play a part in it. As reported, she will be part of the film’s official soundtrack, as well as of the film’s official cast.
The same publication noted that this sparked a lot of discussions among fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise and the ‘Pretty Hurts’ singer. Although this excited a lot of people, the rumors also reportedly disappointed several avid fans. As stated, Beyonce’s likelihood to play a role in the film might not work for Black Panther 2.
The truth behind the rumors
Despite the discussion about the matter, writer and actor, Matt Donnelly released a revealing post on social media earlier this month. In his post, he said that sources have since told him that there is no Disney film nor soundtrack project in line for the songstress.
He asserted, however, that the Lion King voice star might still end up “working” again with Disney’s future projects. As for Beyonce, she has since remained silent about the rumors.
