Brent Champagne’s journey in Big Brother is about to come to an end, and he still has no idea.
Most of the time, contestants of Big Brother are aware if they are being blindsided or targeted by the Heads of Households and the houseguests. However, the same cannot be said about Brent.
During last week’s episode, some female houseguests expressed their concern over Brent’s arrogance and love for himself.
Their observations worsened after Brent started accusing some of his fellow houseguests of flirting with him even when they weren’t.
Brent Champagne will most likely go home
This behavior put him at risk of being this week’s target. And instead of laying low, he put an even bigger target on his back when he told HOH Xavier that he doesn’t see himself as a pawn.
Brent is convinced that he’s such a good player that no one would suspect that he’s a pawn. So, if Xavier puts him up on the block as a pawn, whoever he’s against will be the one to stay in the game.
But what Brent doesn’t know is that Xavier was just tricking him into thinking that he’s a pawn. This is part of the HOH’s strategy so that he won’t freak Brent out.
So, until the eve of this week’s eviction, Brent still has no idea that he’s about to go home.
Hannah can’t wait to see Brent go home
Hannah, who is very upset with Brent, said that she’s looking forward to seeing the reaction on Brent’s face when he gets blindsided on Thursday night.
And she can’t also wait to hear host Julie Chen telling Brent that he didn’t get even a single sympathy vote from his fellow houseguests.
More twists in ‘Big Brother’ Season 23
Following Brent’s impending exit, it seems like a level playing field for the remaining houseguests.
It is unclear who they will target next, but it will all depend on which houseguest will earn the coveted HOH.
However, this is not where it will end. This season, Big Brother also introduced a Wildcard round wherein the HOHs are given an opportunity to take a risk or lose it all.
Big Brother Season 23 airs weekly on CBS.
