Big Hit reveals special performers for NY Eve concert

After revealing the performers’ final lineup for the upcoming concert 2021 NEW YEAR’S EVE LIVE!, Big Hit has made an exciting announcement revealing Halsey, Lauv, and Steve Aoki as special performers.

The final lineup of the Big Hit year-end concert has already been revealed previously. In the middle of the excitement of fans, Big Hit Labels shared another set of notable performers.

Halsey, Lauv, and Steve Aoki will be performing at the event as well. If one is keen, the three artists previously collaborated with BTS.

The cancellation of the offline concert

Just recently, Big Hit Entertainment has canceled the New Year’s Eve Live concert’s offline event.

As divulged by Big Hit, the social distancing stage in South Korea has been heightened due to the rapid spread of COVID-19.

Big Hit stated that they decided to cancel the concert’s offline performance for the artists’ and fans’ safety.

Consequently, the said joint show is going to be conducted through online live streaming without any audience.

A tribute to the late Shin Hae Chul

Furthermore, Big Hit shared that there will also be a tribute stage to the late Shin Hae Chul at the said concert.

Shin Hae Chul is an iconic singer-songwriter who inspired younger generations with his creativity and music.

Using artificial intelligence (AI) and hologram technology, Shin Hae Chul will be brought back to life on the stage. At the event, the artists will sing his hit songs To You and What Do You Want?

Moreover, Big Hit Entertainment shared that they prepared a tribute stage to remember the late Shin Hae Chul.

“To complete an unforgettable performance that connects time, space, and generation with music, we have been preparing this for a long time.”

On December 31, the 2021 NEW YEAR’S EVE LIVE will be taking place at 9:30 p.m. KST. Currently, the tickets are on sale now at Weverse Shop, and until December 31 at 11 p.m. KST, they will be available for purchase.
