Reese Witherspoon thanked the cast of Scandal
Prior to the Big Little Lies stars’ partnership with Frontline Foods, reports revealed that Kerry Washington and the cast of Scandal were also involved with the effort. As per Chicago Eater, they donated 100 meals for the staff of the Roseland Community Hospital last month.
As pointed out, the hospital has shut down its “kitchen operations” after the kitchen staff and workers contracted the novel coronavirus. This reportedly left them without any foodservice, causing them to solicit food donations from local restaurants.
The Legally Blonde actress thanked the cast of Shonda Rhimes’ now-concluded series for the inspiration. This reportedly influenced them to participate in the same “endeavor.”
