Biggest June game releases include ‘The Outer Worlds’ and more

Now that May is coming to a close, gamers have more things to look forward to next month. June game releases are going to be exciting, but we’ve found the most anticipated releases so far.

June game releases will keep the wallets of players empty, but if gamers know which games to prioritize, they can save a lot. As such, we’ve taken a look at the scheduled releases for next month to see which of the titles are going to be worth the buy.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 – June 4

Fortnite is going to get a new season on June 4. Not much has been said about the next season in the game yet, but current teases in the game suggest that underwater content is coming to the battle royale. With the new season also comes a new battle pass that’s packed with new items to collect.

The Outer Worlds –  June 5

The Outer Worlds has been available on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC since Oct. 2019. However, it’s going to launch on the Switch this June 5. While the game will certainly take a hit from the Switch’s weaker processing power, the experience of the amazing shooter remains the same.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Greymoor – June 9

The next expansion for The Elder Scrolls Online is Greymoor. It takes players to a new region in Western Skyrim. What awaits players is a new storyline, a lot of new weapons and armor to collect, and new foes to face.

The Last of Us 2 – June 19

The Last of Us 2′ is arguably the biggest June game releases yet. It’s the follow-up to Naughty Dog’s timeless survival horror. A lot of controversies is surrounding the game, especially with regards to the story leaks. However, Naughty Dog is confident that the game is still better to experience first hand.

Pokemon Sword and Shield: The Isle of Armor – TBA

There is no exact release date for The Isle of Armor DLC for Pokemon Sword and Shield yet. However, Nintendo did say that the first DLC for the latest entry in the franchise will launch in June, so players should expect it next month at the very least.

The Isle of Armor will see the return of many fan-favorite Pokemon. Aside from that, the DLC will introduce a new playable area to explore off the coast of Galar. There will be a new story to finish, a new rival to beat, and a new Legendary Pokemon to befriend.

These are the biggest June game releases gamers should be excited for. There are other titles launching this month, but these games are worth every penny.
