Bill Gates and Melinda Gates already started facing a messy situation following the divorce filing. But a new report suggests that it could also expose more affairs in the company Bill covered up.
Bill Gates will receive more spotlight following his divorce from Melinda Gates, a new report predicted.
Last month, the power Gates couple announced their divorce that ended their 27 years of marriage. Since then, damaging accusations against the business mogul started to emerge.
For what it’s worth, several news outlets alleged that Bill’s infidelity serves as the real reason behind the split. But apart from the already-known details, a new report warned that more exposures will occur soon.
Is Bill Gates being unfriendly at work?
In the past years before the divorce happened, the public bombarded Bill with allegations about him being a rude boss. These instances were never publicized, though.
After years of being silent, one of his former employees finally spoke up and revealed how difficult the businessman is.
The source told Vanity Fair that the 65-year-old opted to use nondisclosure agreements (NDAs) within the company. Bill, reportedly, used them to prevent the rumors from spreading.
“For such a long time you were told, ‘You have an NDA. You can’t talk,’” the employee, who signed on the same agreement, recalled.
As to why they spoke up now, the former employee said that they were encouraged to do so. Despite the fact that Bill has attorneys that are waiting for them, they needed to speak amid the public’s interest in his behavior.
However, another source revealed that all employees under Microsoft truly sign an NDA. It is also a common process, especially in the tech industry. The insider debunked the former employee’s claims, saying that Bill never used it to silence detractors.
Bill’s workplace behavior
Apart from the aforesaid allegation, the former employee noted that the boss has always been impatient and demanding. Still, the publication took note of the fact that behaviors like that are normal in the world of technology.
“He would ask you a question, and when you answered, he’d look at you and go, ‘That is NOT the right answer,’” the source added.
Another one said that if an employee missed the deadline, Gates would directly talk to the concerned person.
Vanity Fair also reported that sources close to Melinda knew that she worked with an investigator before the divorce filing. But one of her spokespeople denied it to the news outlet.
