Billions season 5 is coming back to the mainstream with a special appearance of WWE’s The Man, Becky Lynch.
Billions which debuted in 2016 takes the viewers to the world of the financial markets and how these markets are being manipulated by the wealthiest contenders.
The series follows the life of the billionaire hedge fund king Axelrod (Damian Lewis). Axelrod is said to continually aim to turn the financial market into his favor.
The Billions season 4 has ended with the satisfaction of showing the true colors of money and power. With its season 5 premiere, the hit series will continue to hit up the competition on controlling the financial market.
The upcoming series has also teased the viewers with new characters to work with the main cast.

Becky Lynch, an Irish descent, is known for her career as a professional wrestler. She won the Raw Women’s Championship and SmackDown Women’s Championship simultaneously and holds the four-time champion of WWE.

The confirmation of Lynch’s appearance in Billions season 5 came after a watch party event in 2019. Brian Koppelman, the co-creator and executive producer wore a Lynch t-shirt and gave an invitation to Lynch to appear in the series.
It appears that Bryan Koppelman had found in Lynch the perfect role to do the special appearance. The showrunners have not yet divulged the role of Lynch in the upcoming series, but the WWE champion will definitely interact with Paul Giamatti, Damian Lewis, and the rest of the cast.
Who will be the cast in Billions season 5 and who will be returning
Obviously, Billions season 5 will return with Damian Lewis as an excellent stock trader. Viewers will also see Paul Giamatti as the ruthless attorney. Several casts who will make a come back include Asia Kate Dillon, Maggie Siff, David Costabile, Condola Rashad, Kelly AuCoin, and Jeffrey DeMunn.

Billions season 5 which will return to CBS’s Showtime Network will air at 9pm EST, on May 3, 2020. In addition, the series has gained 4.2 million viewers per week on all Tv and streaming platforms.

What to expect from Billions season 5
In Billions season 5, Bobby Axelrod and Chuck Rhoades will square off in rivalry. Viewers will also witness the entry of new enemies who want to take control.
The official site of Billions has released a synopsis which reads,
“Bobby Axelrod reaches a major milestone. Chuck struggles to get his bearings, and he and Wendy navigate a new normal. Tensions are high at Axe Cap now that Taylor Mason is back. Axe faces off against new rival Mike Prince. Taylor wrestles with a decision.”
