The world’s biggest crypto exchange, Binance, has today announced an AU$3.48m investment into Queensland-based crypto travel startup TravelbyBit.
The investment will fund a roll-out of cryptocurrency point-of-sale systems into major airports around the world.
It’s been a meteoric rise for TravelbyBit after its technology was first installed at the Brisbane International Airport in July this year.
The company’s point-of-sale systems are also in use at a number of other tourism hot-spots in Queensland.
Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dash, Ethereum, XEM and Binance Coin are all currently accepted by TravelbyBit.
