BioWare’s ‘Mass Effect 4’ has a narrative producer now

Seems like the development process of the Mass Effect 4 title is slowly catching up the pace. The project just found its narrative producer.

Former Bethesda developer, Hilary Heskett, has recently joined Electronic Arts to work on Mass Effect 4.

‘Mass Effect 4’ details so far.

While announcing her new position at EA on her Twitter account, Heskett said she would work on the next Mass Effect project.

Her addition to the company means that the making of Mass Effect 4 may begin soon in the coming months.

There is currently the remastered edition of the past trilogy to keep the series lovers hooked for some time. But they will surely start asking for more soon after they are done exploring the revamped installments.

And thus, it becomes even more important for EA to start working on the next chapter sooner than later. That way, it will have something to share in-between as a promotional trailer or footage by the following year.

Otherwise, fans might express their disappointment due to not getting anything on Mass Effect 4. The awaited title was initially teased last December.

The last entry into the saga was Andromeda which launched four years ago.

Speaking of the newest addition on the project, then as a narrative producer, Heskett will manage the communications. They will be among the game’s writers, animators, producers, and directors.

This job role is vital in AAA titles but not as creatively powerful as the other positions.

Upcoming games of 2021

While the Mass Effect series fans are waiting for the next installment, others look forward to many other fresh releases.

Speaking of fresh, then some of the most-awaited potential blockbusters to watch out for will be STALKER 2 and Far Cry 6.

Horizon Forbidden West, a new Call of Duty entry, Psychonauts 2, and Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart are also on the list.

The big line-up extends even further with the likes of Dying Light 2, Deathloop, Stray, and Kena: Bridge of Spirits.

No More Heroes 3, New World, Cyber Shadow, Shadow Warrior 3, GhostWire: Tokyo, and Humankind are other crucial launches.

Several recently announced projects making a debut soon are The Day Before, Glitchpunk, and Etched Memories.

Coming onto Mass Effect 4, again, it’s currently in an early development stage.
