Users of iOS can now enjoy perks of bitcoin rewards platform Lolli after the company announced the launch of a mobile app that is available for gadgets running on the operating system utilized by Apple devices.
The mobile application enables users to take advantage of Lolli’s “sat-back” ecommerce model which gives bitcoin rewards for purchases and mainstream retailers such as Microsoft, Kroger and Ulta Beauty. Before the launch, such reward system is only possible through Lolli’s web extension.
“The Lolli bitcoin rewards app offers even greater reward accessibility for mobile shopping and includes premium rewards rates, a growing merchant network, referral bonuses, the option to view rewards in bitcoin or satoshis,” said the announcement from the platform’s team.
Lolli’s hefty reward system
The platform is currently offering up to 30% and an average of 7% back in bitcoin rewards. So far, it has already handed over $3.5 million in merchant-funded bitcoin rewards to its loyal users.
The mobile app will also include an animated loot box dubbed as “Daily Stacks” that provide users the chance to win 1 million satoshis on a daily basis. At press time, such amount would fetch a value of about $377.
“We believe everyone should be able to easily earn bitcoin on every purchase on every device, and mobile shopping is just another step toward achieving that goal,” said Lolli Chief Technology Officer Matt Senter about their decision to release the rewarding app for iOS devices.
Pushing for bitcoin adoption
Lolli Chief Executive Officer Alex Adelman has always been a vocal proponent of pushing bitcoin adoption through commerce and he believes that “sats-back” rewards will eventually make more people full-pledged bitcoiners.
“The next stage – these earners are going to become spenders. Once they hold bitcoin, they’re going to want to spend it,” the CEO said.
