Billboard launched two charts last month that ranks the most popular tracks globally: the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart and the Billboard Global 200 chart.
The streaming data and track sales in the charts are based on more than 200 territories. The factors of the rankings were determined based on the weighted formula that combines official-only streams.
This includes both ad-supported and subscription tiers of leading digital platforms with downloads from major online music retailers worldwide.
The data reflected from the week of October 2 to October 8 is where the charts are dated.
Jason Derulo, Jawsh 685, and BTS’s Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat) soared to the top spot after placing at No. 8 in the Global 200 chart the previous week.
The week before, rising 90 percent with 77.5 million streams is the global streams for the track. The global downloads for the week are 62,000.
BLACKPINK took the No. 2 spot with its Lovesick Girls and is followed by the track Dynamite of BTS at No. 3.

Previously, Billboard expounds that BTS is a billed act for Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat). The track’s total activity in the tracking week favored the versions with all the three artists.
Taking the No. 1 spot is BLACKPINK’s Lovesick Girls on the Global 200 Excl. U.S. chart with 114 million streams and 17,000 downloads.
BTS‘ Dynamite simultaneously grabs the No. 2 spot. And the group’s song with Jason Derulo and Jawsh 685, Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat), comes in third.
The rankings are based on data from different territories buts excludes the United States.
