The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed the October brand reputation rankings for girl idol groups. BLACKPINK nailed on the top spot!
The rank of BLACKPINK was determined using the significant data collected from September 10 to October 10.
Through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various girl groups, K-pop girl groups were ranked.

This month’s top of the list is BLACKPINK, who successfully defended their position from the previous months with a brand reputation index of 6,186,611.
“YouTube,” “Lovesick Girls,” “Official,” and “nurse uniform” are the high-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis.
“Record,” “erase,” and “controversy” are included in BLACKPINK’s highest-ranking related terms. Meanwhile, the positivity-negativity analysis of the girl-group revealed a score of 60.81 percent positive reactions.
Last month, BLACKPINK also held onto their spot at the top of the list with a brand reputation index of 11,211,456. The September score of the girl group marked a 12.99 percent increase in their score since August.
The YG group’s high-ranking phrases in their keyword analysis included “YouTube,” “Billboard,” and “Netflix.”
The highest-ranking related terms of the group had “record,” “surpass,” and “release.”
Simultaneously, a score of 89.02 percent positive reactions of BLACKPINK’s positivity-negativity analysis was revealed.
From number three last month, Oh My Girl managed to rise to second place in the rankings. The group garnered a brand reputation index of 4,401,065. Meanwhile, having a total index of 3,930,847 for October is MAMAMOO.
The rank four to ten girl groups in the list include (G)I-DLE, Girl’s Generation, Red Velvet, IZ*ONE, TWICE, Lovelyz, and GFRIEND.
