BLACKPINK members, Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé, will appear as guests on SBS’s Running Man after three years!
On October 6, YG Entertainment revealed that BLACKPINK is participating in the recording of a Running Man episode this week. However, the schedule of the broadcast has not been shared yet.
BLACKPINK in “Running Man” 2016
It was in December 2016 when the K-pop quartet last appeared on Running Man. This means that the girls will be returning to the program after three years and ten months.
Looking back on their guesting on the 2016 episode, the girls took part in a game called 5-second Q&A. It is a game where contestants only have 5 seconds to answer personal questions about themselves or have a bottle of water dumped on their heads.
Rosé asked Jisoo, “which three celebrities you like from YG?”
Jisoo attentively replied, “G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Seungri!”
Taking things down a funny path, Yoo Jae-suk immediately mentioned that poor Daesung was left out. And the sentiment was hilariously reinforced when Jisoo was asked, “Which three celebrities do you not want to be friends with?”
Rosé immediately replied, “G-Dragon, Daesung, and Seungri!”
About “Running Man”
The South Korean variety show first aired in July 2010.
Previously, Running Man guests were made to complete specific missions at a given landmark to win the race. As time passed, the variety series concentrates more on games as the show adopted a more familiar concept.
More appearances on the way for BLACKPINK
Aside from the anticipation of BLACKPINK in Running Man, OSEN reported on October 5 (Monday) that the Lovesick Girls singers are scheduled to make a full-group appearance on the show. A source from JTBC revealed the confirmation saying that on October 8, BLACKPINK will be participating in an Ask Us Anything recording.
Furthermore, the episode that will feature BLACKPINK will air on October 17.
The last time BLACKPINK thrilled their fans with their wit and charm on the show was in August 2017.
