The Korean girl supergroup BLACKPINK will be meeting fans through the video platform TikTok. This performance is after the group swept the real-time charts with its first full-length album, The Album.
The quartet’s agency, YG Entertainment, on October 14, announced the TikTok Stage with BLACKPINK.
Through various sessions, BLACKPINK will be connecting with fans during the event, and they will be discussing details and behind-the-scenes stories of The Album.
Fans who will win the pre-event will participate in the live video call during the big event. The said activity will be hitting on mobile screens on October 21 at 7 PM KST.
Building memories and ties
As YG Entertainment stated, the event’s purpose is to have the members grow closer to their fans.
Previously, BLACKPINK ranked second on the U.S. Billboard Album Charts and the British Official Charts with The Album. The two ranking platforms are considered the world’s two most significant pop charts.

Another remarkable milestone of the four-piece
Recently, BLACKPINK made a splash on Billboard’s Artist 100 chart after its first full album.
BLACKPINK soared high on the chart dated October 17 as it skyrocketed from No. 65 last week to take No. 1. BLACKPINK holds the record as the first girl group to top the chart launched in 2004. The girl group joins BTS and SuperM as the third Korean act to achieve the new milestone.
Soompi’s report says that the Artist 100 is described as measuring the artist activity across crucial music consumption metrics.
The chart also measures the critical metrics of blending album and track sales, streaming, radio airplay, and social media fan interaction. The chart also aims to provide a weekly multi-dimensional ranking of the artist’s popularity.
Note that the rise of BLACKPINK’s position on the charts results from their first full album release, THE ALBUM, on October 2.
The girl’s new compilation unveils their title track Lovesick Girls, their sweet collaboration with Selena Gomez titled Ice Cream, and many more.
