In the afternoon of December 28 at around 3:08 p.m. KST, the music video of the girl’s well-loved track Playing with Fire hit 600 million views.
Remarkably, the music video started to enchant fans with its unique presentation and unmatched choreography on November 1, 2016.
It means that the track took four years and two months to reach the milestone.
Simultaneously, since the track achieved half a million views on May 8 this year, it wows with an impressive 100 million rise in viewership in just six months.
As a digital single titled Square Two, this track of BLACKPINK was released by YG Entertainment four years ago along with Stay. Teddy Park wrote the song while Teddy and R. Tee composed it.
Playing with Fire‘s music video was helmed by Seo Hyun Seung, who also worked with the group for Boombayah. The song was then uploaded on the official YouTube channel of BLACKPINK.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK’s music video for Lovesick Girls also surpassed 300 million views on YouTube on December 24 at approximately 9:14 p.m. KST.
On the other hand, the group’s collaboration song with Selena Gomez, Ice Cream, already surpassed 450 million views on YouTube on December 26 at around 6:30 a.m. KST.
