BLACKPINK returned to ABC’s Good Morning America with Lovesick Girls after its 2019 guesting.
On October 21, BLACKPINK made their second appearance on the morning talk show of the famous ABC’s Good Morning America. The group made its way to promote Lovesick Girls, the title track of The Album.
Overwhelmed by the accomplishments
After the performance, the group sat for an interview with the host of GMA. They were then asked if they are surprised by all their accomplishments. The group agreed, and Jennie commented that it means a lot to them.
“Everything that their fans showed us from their love and support and through everything they could do,” the group said.
Rose added that the group is grateful for every one.

Why name it THE ALBUM?
Good Morning America asked them why did they decide to name its first full album The Album. As per Rose, they came up with different other names, but they always thought of their fans at the end of the day.
BLINKs has been waiting for a long time for the album, and there was nothing better than to name their new album BLACKPINK – THE ALBUM.
A hint of an upcoming world tour
Lastly, the group also talked about the stunts fans have to look forward to. Fans couldn’t help but gush when the group said they are looking forward to performing live again when the COVID-19 pandemic is over.
Lisa excitedly replied that they want to perform all around the world. The group also misses the BLINKs so much.
BLACKPINK on the peak of success
Moreover, BLACKPINK recently appeared on ABC’s late-night talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live! The group talked about their successful gigs, especially at the Coachella music festival last year.
Furthermore, the agency of BLACKPINK and Netflix released a documentary of the girls, showing the behind-the-scenes of its successful gigs and its first full-length album. The documentary showed what the group went through since they were trainees until now that they are at the peak of success.
