BLACKPINK gave new surprising treats to their fans ahead of their debut album’s release.
BLACKPINK teased their fans again as they released another set of posters for their upcoming album, The Album. Aside from reminding their audience about the date and time of the album drop, they also revealed the “main track” title of their debut album, according to NME.
About “Lovesick Girls”
On Sunday, the all-female K-pop group surprised their fans and followers on social media upon releasing the title track. Based on the teaser photos, “Lovesick Girls” will serve as the main single of The Album.
BLACKPINK gave very little information about the new single. But, reports recalled that this is the third one that they have revealed before the public.
Earlier this year, the quartet already dropped two of the ten tracks included in their first full album. They premiered “How You Like That,” and has since continued to break records on several platforms.
The same is also true for their recent collaboration with Selena Gomez. They released “Ice Cream,” which publications dubbed as one of the highly anticipated productions of Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé, and Lisa.
BLACKPINK and their latest teaser posters
On their official social media accounts, BLACKPINK revealed the main theme and aesthetic of their upcoming title track through the teaser posters. Billboard reported that the material shows the title of the album, as well as the song name.

Other upcoming events and materials
BLACKPINK’s comeback is, indeed, a sweet treat for the fandom. Alongside the album itself, the K-pop group will also have a “Comeback Live” event on October 1 at 10:00 a.m. KST.
Publications said that the four K-pop girls encouraged their fans to join them on the live-streaming event via VLive. As for the content, it remains unclear whether it will be a mini-live concert ahead of their album’s release.
A few days after The Album‘s release, fans, especially BLINKS, will get to enjoy the behind-the-scene looks of the K-pop stars. BLACKPINK previously announced that there would be a documentary titled, Light Up The Sky, which will give the fandom a glimpse of their new and recent acts. The material will drop on Netflix, on October 14.
