BLACKPINK unveils teaser of first livestream concert titled ‘The Show’

BLACKPINK confirms its first live stream concert titled The Show with photo and video teasers!

Previously, YG Entertainment revealed a video teaser titled BLACKPINK AROUND THE WORLD on November 22. This made the BLINKs speculate that the quartet will be the first runner of Palm Stage.

An invitation video was also shared on December 1, making fans more curious about the girl group’s upcoming big reveal.

Palm Stage is a digital concert format launched by YG Entertainment. The idea is for viewers to be able to watch a concert in the palm of their hands.

This innovation of YG makes them aligned with Big Hit, SME, and JYPE’s revolutionary plans. This set up will be providing fans with an excellent substitute for live concerts.

The superstars’ confirmation

The concert was officially confirmed on December 3 by YG, with BLACKPINK sharing the main poster of THE SHOW. Reflecting on the poster, the concert is scheduled for December 27, Sunday, at 2 P.M. KST.

And for the first time, it will be broadcasted live via the girl group’s official YouTube channel.

For fans to access BLACKPINK’s live stream concert, they will have to join a YouTube channel membership.

To clarify fans on how to join, they can check out The Show guide video uploaded on the group’s official SNS. The said channel membership is a one-time payment only.

A captivating teaser

BLACKPINK has also dropped a trailer video aside from the top poster and guide video of the upcoming event. The 30 seconds clip kicked off with a room with numerous items with the phrase showing on the screen, BLACKPINK Presents.

The concept group photo for Lovesick Girls is the next part of the clip showed. And then, in the middle of the room, a man walking and turning on a machine.

BLACKPINK members’ pictures appear from time to time and viewers can see a man working on something.

It turned out that the man was making the earth with a pink crown over it toward the end of the clip.

Meanwhile, on December 3, the ticket reservations for the live stream concert has already started today.

Fans can also visit YG Entertainment’s official website and purchase tickets for the girl group’s upcoming live stream concert.
