BLACKPINK made their utmost sincere discussion regarding the issue of the Earth’s changing climate. The quartet’s talk was uploaded to their official YouTube channel.
After a short montage of BLACKPINK’s performances, the members take turns in tackling the topic. It includes the weather changes that are occurring due to the loss of natural habitats.
In the video, the four-piece emphasized how essential natural habitats are for the planet. They urged their fans to help make a difference.
The quartet promoting the UN Climate Change Conference
The girls shared their concern about what’s happening around them and their willingness to learn more. The girls were also honest to admit that they are not experts on climate change.
Lisa, Jisoo, Rose, and Jennie said that we can still save the Earth, and it’s not yet too late.
Then the girls proceed on their talk to promote the UN Climate Change Conference or COP26. The said conference is going to happen in the UK in November 2021.
Encouraging to make a difference
Taking part in saving the world is a global challenge, said Jennie.
“Every one of us could make a difference, and we need to act now,” she added.
Lisa continued saying that this is our planet, and this is our future. The effects of climate change significantly affect us.
Furthermore, on their call to make a difference, the four-piece called on their fans, known as BLINKs. They challenge their supporters to join them on their journey to learn more about climate change.
The girls’ recorded talk was released ahead of the 5th anniversary of the historic Paris Agreement on climate change on Saturday, December 12.
