BLACKPINK’s new tracks on its first full-length album entitled “THE ALBUM” entered Spotify with a resounding success!
On October 5, YG Entertainment unveiled the news that all eight tracks on the full album of BLACKPINK debuted in the top 25 on Spotify’s Daily Global Top 50.

On the day of its release, THE ALBUM’s title track, Lovesick Girls, on October 2, ranked number three on the Global Top 50 chart.
Debuting at number four is Bet You Wanna featuring Cardi B, while Pretty Savage at number eight, and Ice Cream at No. 10.
Enjoying in No. 17 is Crazy Over You, No. 18 is Love To Hate Me, No. 19 is How You Like That, and at No. 25 is You Never Know. All four songs ranked high on the chart as well.

Lovesick Girls beats How You Like That and Ice Cream
BLACKPINK’s pre-release single How You Like That in June became the highest-ranking debut for a girl group song as it debuted at number 5 on the chart.
The track also became the longest-charting K-pop song on the Global 50 chart in Spotify history with 52 days defeating BTS’s Boy With Luv ft. Halsey at the time, which recorded 50 days.
In August, their single Ice Cream broke the record at number four. At number three, the group’s highest-ranking girl group debut is now Lovesick Girls.
Furthermore, Ice Cream remains BLACKPINK’s biggest debut on the chart in terms of stream numbers, with total streams of 5,060,036 on its first day.
BLACKPINK to guest in jTBC’s Ask Us Anything
OSEN reported on October 5 that BLACKPINK would be returning to Ask Us Anything for another appearance. The quartet is scheduled to make a full-group appearance on the show.
According to a source from jTBC, BLACKPINK’s episode will be on October 17 but will be shot on October 8. It was in August 2017 that BLACKPINK made an appearance on the show.
