Blake Shelton reportedly dumped his girlfriend Gwen Stefani on Mother’s Day last year.
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have been dating for a couple of years already. However, one tabloid claimed that the God Gave Me You singer dumped the celebrity mom on Mother’s Day.
Blake Shelton allegedly dumped Gwen Stefani
Life & Style claimed that Blake Shelton dumped Gwen Stefani on Mother’s Day. The tabloid published the bogus story on May 22, 2019.
The outlet asserted that Stefani assumed Shelton would propose to her. However, she received another surprise after her long-term boyfriend “walked out” on her.
“The surprise Gwen got was shocking. Blake explained that they had a great romance going, but that all the pressure to marry her was just too much for him,” the source said.
Stefani humiliated and angry
Blake Shelton reportedly ended his romance with Gwent Stefani over the phone, leaving the No Doubt singer “humiliated and angry.” Moreover, the breakup happened on Mother’s Day, which was supposed to be special for Stefani.
“Mother’s Day turned out to be the worst day of her life. She saw her mom and her kids but ended up spending most of the day alone, crying, trying to figure out what went wrong,” the so-called source added.
The insider went on and said that Stefani believed there was a third party. She reportedly couldn’t come to terms with the split because there were no signs that Shelton was unhappy. So, Stefani was clueless.
Shelton and Stefani’s split debunked
Gossip Cop debunked the report. It was published last year, and Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are still very much together.
In fact, the couple is quarantine together at his home in Oklahoma.
Just recently, Shelton appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and shared what they do while in quarantine. The country singer said they do not go outside his home. In fact, he never saw his mom and step-dad, who only lived 10 miles from his house.
He also shared that they learned new things while on lockdown. Furthermore, he gave fans a glimpse of what keeps them busy at home.
“We learned how to make bread real good, sourdough bread,” Shelton said.
“Literally it’s like Little House on the Prairie here. She makes bread, I’ve been building a fence and gardening. We’re pretty self-sufficient out here.”
Also, Stefani and Shelton just purchased their first home together. The pair bought a $13.2 million property in the prime foothills of Encino, out in Los Angeles’ increasingly desirable San Fernando Valley, Variety reported.
