Blake Shelton has been part of The Voice for a long time, but he is considering quitting the show after 20 seasons, a report claims.
Blake Shelton is one of the coaches who has been part of The Voice for several seasons already. However, he will not be staying on the show for long after he married Gwen Stefani for a reason.
Blake Shelton quitting The Voice rumor
Blake Shelton is ready to step away from The Voice after being part of it for 20 seasons, Star report. It quoted an anonymous insider saying, “all good things must come to an end,” and the country singer is ready to take up his next challenge.
The tipster said he still wants to mentor the up-and-coming country stars but will do it privately. He will still help shape people’s careers, but without the cameras rolling, the source added.
But aside from that, his reason for allegedly quitting the TV reality talent shows had something to do with his fiancee, Gwen Stefani. Shelton reportedly wanted to be her husband and dad to their kids.
“He wants more time to kick back and be a husband and a dad and not be tied to work all day, every day,” the source said.
The tipster also said the couple have already chosen a surrogate and are hoping to be new parents early next year.

Blake quitting The Voice to be a dad debunked
Gossip Cop examined the report and noted that it’s not unlikely to happen. For example, his former The Voice co-star Adam Levine shocked many when he announced his exit. Thus, the rumor isn’t exactly something unheard of.
Shelton has been part of the show since it premiered. In fact, it was where he and Gwen Stefani found each other and fell in love.
However, the rumor-debunking site noted that the report has a few problems.
First, Shelton has been a step-dad to Stefani’s kids with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale. He has been juggling his professional and personal life for years, so the need to retire to become a dad is unbelievable.
Second, The Voice is not an “all day, every day” experience. All the blind auditions are filmed over four days, the auditions air over about 10 weeks, and the show doesn’t last all year to hold so much of Shelton’s attention and time. So, Gossip Cop finds the report’s argument nonsense.
Gwen and Blake update
Blake Shelton proposed to Gwen Stefani at his ranch in Oklahoma last year. The couple announced their engagement in October.
In a video interview with Hoda Kotb on Today, he hinted about their wedding date. He told Kotb that he wanted it to happen this summer and before November before he returns to The Voice cycle.
