Blake Shelton wants to have the perfect wedding with Gwen Stefani that he’s, allegedly, turning into a “groomzilla” from hell.
According to Globe, Blake Shelton has been barking orders at everyone to ensure that his ranch would be ready in time for his big day.
Blake Shelton stressing over his wedding
And even though no one’s putting any pressure on the country musician, Shelton still wants to make sure that his wedding to Stefani will be perfect.
“No one’s putting pressure on him, but Blake’s obsessed with the wedding details and driving his staff crazy with his constant orders and revisions. He’s building a chapel on the ranch, a lighted boat for a romantic wedding cruise on the lake, and picking the style of the canopy for the banquet floor. It’s all got to be perfect and if he sees one thing out of place, he’ll worry himself into a frenzy,” the source said.
The country musician is going all out with his ranch
According to the source, Shelton is also re-landscaping the grounds of his ranch and adding a color-themed garden.
Before he got engaged to Stefani, the singer’s ranch was a casual and rugged place. But it has now turned into a place where people need to wear protective shoe covers to keep the floors clean and tidy.
“He’s also fussing over the menu – demanding gourmet food imported from Europe and cases of premium liquor and champagne. He wants nothing but the best for Gwen,” the source said.
The insider concluded that it’s more common for brides to stress over their wedding preparations.
But in the case of Blake Shelton and Stefani, it’s obvious that the former is the one who’s more stressed.
Friends of The Voice coach have, allegedly, been encouraging Shelton to take a chill pill.
Gwen Stefani debunks rumors about Blake Shelton
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.
Stefani and Shelton just got engaged. And they still haven’t revealed when they will tie the knot.
With this, Shelton and Stefani haven’t also shared their wedding plans. As such, it’s obvious that the tabloid is just speculating on what will take place during the couple’s wedding day.
During her interview with Ryan Seacrest on his podcast, Stefani said that she and her fiancé are still waiting on what will happen in the next few months.
“I would say, I just want my parents there at this point. My parents didn’t come to Thanksgiving because they’re so scared. So I really would rather it not be a COVID situation. I would rather not have masks and that kind of thing — and even when you cut it down to just family, it’s still too many people for COVID,” Stefani said.
The No Doubt singer’s statement proves that she and Blake Shelton are not stressing over their wedding.
