Borderlands 3 is getting another DLC launch early next month, and Gearbox is getting more inventive than ever. True enough, the upcoming DLC is fittingly entitled, Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck.
Borderlands 3 is an action RPG video game that is a true sequel to 2012’s Borderlands 2. It follows the adventures of the Vault Hunters and their quest to defeat the crazed cult known as The Children of the Vault.
The previous DLC, Bounty of Blood: A Fistful of Redemption released in June, garnered mixed reactions from the players. However, Gearbox is setting a much higher expectation because of the odd and unique game content of the new DLC.
What is Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck DLC all about?
The new DLC will allow the players to travel the mind of Krieg, the psycho character in Borderlands 2. Players will encounter new enemies in a different environment, as well as encounter familiar faces from Borderlands 2 and the original Borderlands. Some of the returning characters include Maya the Siren, and the dark versions of Brick, Bloodwing, and Lilith. Thus, the new DLC will certainly offer interesting gameplay and story.

Aside from that, the Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck DLC will introduce plenty of new weapons and cosmetics to try on. On the other hand, the DLC will focus on finding the mythical Vaulthalla. The vault hunters, led by Patricia Tannis are on the hunt on finding the mythical place. And to do that, Tannis and the rest of the vault hunters must journey into Krieg’s fractured mind.
Borderlands 3 new DLC trailer revealed
The new trailer offers a good chunk of what to expect in the upcoming DLC. The trailer highlights a flying train inside Krieg’s meat castle. It also showed a lot of fighting and every weird stuff that goes through the mind of a psycho. Players will battle Krieg’s inner demons, as well as experience the DLC’s legendary loots.

Moreover, just by looking at the trailer, it already promises much more creative gameplay than the previous DLC. Although the new content seems outrageous, Gearbox proves to be as imaginative and stylish.
Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck DLC release date
Borderlands 3: Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck will officially hit the market on September 10. Furthermore, the new DLC is, reportedly, the final DLC in Borderlands 3’s Season Pass. However, there is no official word from Gearbox if the company will continue to add more expansions to the game.
