As some base their assumptions on the manga’s first chapter that features a future timeline, they may already have an idea of what will happen next. Fans only have to connect the events from the major time-jump to see what will possibly occur in Boruto Chapter 53 moving forward.
Here, the future of Naruto and Sasuke lies. Who between these two will die?
Boruto’s eye scar has been evident all the while. He fights Kawaki, who has a karma seal on his hand, in the future timeline. It has also been revealed that there is no eight hokage.
Sasuke is not seen in those sequences, which may mean that he will die instead of Naruto. There will also be a future time-skip happening.
According to BlockToro, Naruto and Sasuke are the two main characters that may die in Boruto Chapter 53.
These two have their own series, and it is maybe the right time for them to give way to other characters to shine.
They are both missing from the flashforward scene, so it is maybe safe to assume that one of them will meet his demise.
There are theories Sasuke may sacrifice himself for the people of Konoha and resurrect them after Isshiki destroys everything.
Boruto will then let Momoshiki take over his body and slash his eye to take control of Boroshiki and save his father.
So, there are predictions Boruto Chapter 53 may end with Sasuke’s death and a time-skip.
Anyhow, fans should only take this assumption with a grain of salt as nothing has been confirmed yet.
In the previous chapter, Isshiki revealed he lost 10 minutes of his life after Naruto activated his new Baryon Mode.
However, he was able to drag Kawaki to the fight just in time before he died, Devdiscourse noted.
This only means that Isshiki may use Kawaki as his vessel. In the first chapter’s flashforward scene, Kawaki was observed with the karma seal.
It is also good to note that Masahi Kishimoto will take the writing works from Ukyo Kodachi from here. So, there may be major changes happening, starting in Boruto Chapter 53 onward.
Boruto Chapter 53 is set to be out either on Thursday, Dec. 17, or Friday, Dec. 18. It will be available on VIZ media, MangaPlus, and Shonen Jump’s official websites and platforms.
