Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie feuding over custody trial witnesses: report

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are allegedly feuding over who will be called to testify in their custody trial that has been going on for over four years already.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie announced their split in 2016. It’s almost five years since the Mr. & Mrs. Smith stars went on and lived their separate lives. However, their legal battle is still ongoing, and they are allegedly feuding over the witnesses for their custody trial.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are still working on their bitter divorce and custody battle. However, they couldn’t reportedly agree on who will be called to testify during the custody trial.

Both parties have presented a list of witnesses they want to call during the trial. However, based on the court documents obtained by Radar Online, the exes couldn’t agree on the testimony of psychologist Dr. Robin.

The Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star listed her as one of his possible witnesses to provide expert testimony. Based on her website, she performs a wide variety of forensic evaluations and testified in juvenile, family, district and federal courts involving divorce and visitation disputes. She also provides consultation and expert witness services on child and adolescent development, complex custody issues, and parenting evaluations, the outlet added.

However, Jolie’s lawyers filed a petition to exclude Deutsch’s testimony. The Maleficent’s camp alleged that she failed to “Adhere to Legal, Ethical, and Procedural Requirements.”

The outlet noted that the former couple also fought over the video of the therapist’s disposition in the case. Jolie seemed to not want the videotape to see the light of day during the trial, the outlet added.

Custody update

In March, Angelina Jolie filed new documents offering to “proof and authority” supporting her claims of domestic abuse against Brad Pitt.

In the court documents, the 45-year-old star also stated that their children — Maddox, 19, Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 14, and 12-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne — were willing to testify to support her claims against their father.

Pitt’s estranged son, Maddox, already testified. His testimony was reportedly not very flattering for Pitt.

Pitt was accused of child abuse following an altercation with Maddox when they were aboard a private jet in September 2016. The incident led Jolie to file for divorce.

The Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services cleared Pitt from child abuse allegations. Meanwhile, a source close to Pitt told Daily Mail that the allegations against Pitt were exaggerated and fabricated.

“It’s unfortunate for the whole family that people are insisting on continuing this endless smear campaign against Brad that hurts everyone,” the source said.
