Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are in a much better place in their relationship, according to multiple reports. However, Pitt still hasn’t patched things up with his eldest son, Maddox.
According to Globe, Brad Pitt has practically been begging the teenager to talk to him and hear him out. However, Maddox has yet to respond to his dad’s pleas.
“It breaks Brad’s heart how they’re still no closer to patching up their differences. He’s begging Maddox to sit down with him and hear him out,” the source said.
Brad Pitt allegedly ready to answer all of his son’s questions
The source also said that Pitt is ready to respond to all of Maddox’s questions if Maddox will agree to have a one-on-one meeting with him.
One of the things that Pitt will, allegedly, tell Maddox is how sorry he is for the things that he did and said while he was still with Jolie.
“He’ll tell him how deeply sorry he is, that he still loves and respects him and his mom. Then it will be in Maddox’s court to give his dad one last chance,” the source said.
Brad Pitt, Maddox’s relationship is nonexistent
Last month, a source told Us Weekly that Brad Pitt doesn’t have a relationship with Maddox. Even though he regularly visits his other children at Jolie’s house, the actor doesn’t have any interaction with Maddox and Pax.
“That relationship continues to be nonexistent,” the source said.
In October of 2019, another source told Us Weekly that Pitt was disappointed over Maddox’s refusal to fix their relationship.
According to Elle, Pitt and Maddox got into an altercation during a private jet flight to Los Angeles. And it was this incident that led Jolie to file for divorce from the Ad Astra actor.
Brangelina divorce
This week, the couple also made headlines amid reports that Jolie requested for the judge in her case against Pitt to be removed. However, Pitt’s camp fired back by saying that Jolie shouldn’t have any issue with the judge because he was the one that married them.
The actor’s team also accused Jolie of trying to delay the adjudication of long-pending custody issues in their case.
“The individuals hurt most by Jolie’s transparently tactical gambit [as] they continue to be deprived over a resolution to these custody issues. Therefore, Jolie’s motion should be denied,” they said.
