According to Us Weekly, the holiday visitation of Brad Pitt has already been set even before his custody trial against Jolie commences next month.
“Brad will see the children on Christmas Day. He is hoping that he will be given increased custodial time with the kids which would result in having them overnight for the holidays this year. The decision will be made by the judge in November,” a source said.
Last month, Us Weekly revealed that Pitt is fighting to have 50/50 custody of his five minor children. However, Jolie has not agreed with his terms. The Maleficent star, reportedly, wants full custody of their kids.
“She] will only agree to talk about an agreement if the home base for the children isn’t Los Angeles. The younger kids are in school in Los Angeles, which Angelina has always been opposed to. They are very smart and are eager to attend school in person [amid the COVID-19 pandemic],” the source said.
The insider also said that Pitt and Jolie’s relationship has seemingly deteriorated. The couple was already starting to become amicable for the sake of their kids. But everything changed after Jolie asked the judge in their custody case to be removed.
Following the actress’s shocking move, Us Weekly reported that Brad Pitt and Jolie are no longer attending family therapy.
But despite the exes issues, differences, and disagreements, it seems that they both have the same goal. Pitt and Jolie just want to protect their kids and give them the best life possible.
The source said that Jolie will do what she thinks is best for her kids. And Pitt will most likely fight for the same thing in court next month.
Two months ago, this claim became evident when Jolie, reportedly, urged Pitt to quarantine for two weeks before he could visit their kids. Back then, Pitt traveled to France with his rumored girlfriend, Nicole Poturalski.
“Angelina insisted Brad quarantine for 14 days after he returned from France, citing a rise in COVID-19 cases in the country. She didn’t want the chance of the kids getting it,” the source said.
Two months have passed and there hasn’t been any report that Brad Pitt tested positive for COVID-19. As such, it is highly likely that he’s been seeing his kids privately at Jolie’s lavish estate.
