Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga sparked dating rumors for several months after they starred in A Star Is Born.
The speculations about the A-listers’ real relationship died naturally after it was confirmed that Lady Gaga is dating Michael Polansky. But before this, several tabloids published the most absurd claims about Gaga and Cooper.
Bradley Cooper, Lady Gaga dating rumors
Last year, OK! magazine claimed that Cooper and Gaga called it quits after the “Poker Face” singer cheated on her co-star with Dan Horton. Other than this, the tabloid also said that Cooper had commitment issues, which is something that Gaga couldn’t accept.
After all, the singer was, allegedly, very much committed to her relationship with Cooper. But the actor just couldn’t handle the intense media scrutiny and attention.
“All the attention they were receiving was just so intense. Bradley tends to move slowly in relationships anyway,” a source said.
The tabloid also mentioned that Cooper was still reeling over his split from Irina Shayk. But he, allegedly, thinks that he and Gaga belong to each other.
Rumors debunked
The contradicting claims made by the tabloid proves that their story about Gaga and Cooper are not true.
Gossip Cop already debunked the tabloid’s claims last year. And they revisited the story this week to stress the fact that Gaga and Cooper never dated. The singer herself told Elle that she and Cooper are just friends and co-stars.
“Quite frankly, I think the press is very silly. I mean, we made a love story. For me, as a performer and as an actress, of course, we wanted people to believe that we were in love,” Lady Gaga said.
Lady Gaga wanted to move in with Bradley Cooper
However, this never stopped the tabloid from concocting more stories about Gaga and Cooper. Last March, they claimed that the co-stars were moving in together.
Back then, Gaga just split from Christian Carino and was, reportedly, looking for a house. However, Cooper was still with Shayk then and they only split sometime in June.
This means that there is no way for Gaga and Cooper to have even considered living together.
And since there hasn’t been any proof that Gaga and Cooper were dating, the tabloid published a convenient storyline. They claimed that the co-stars are hiding their relationship from the world.
But this was the tabloid’s way of still convincing readers that Lady Gaga and Cooper were dating even though they lack proof of their so-called relationship.
