Dying Light 2 is the sequel to 2015’s open-world survival horror game. Most of its details are still confidential, though.
Developer and publisher Techland has kept most of the information under wraps so far.
However, it recently shared a brief video showing the day and night cycle in the upcoming title.
While there’s nothing else in the short clip, it does provide an idea about the atmosphere and vibe of the surroundings.
The ten-second video shows a wall covered in graffiti with overgrown grass around it. The scene begins in daylight and then quickly switches to nighttime. And then goes back to dawn.
That makes a 24-hour cycle, getting revealed in just under ten seconds!
Interestingly, one word pops up when the lights are on in a short nighttime sequence in the video.
“Are” is that word. But there’s nothing less or more than that.
Maybe it’s related to something Techland will announce in the coming weeks or months regarding Dying Light 2.
Fans, on the other hand, are curiously waiting for the horror game to come out soon.
