Britney Spears has, allegedly, turned to hypnosis to help her deal with her anxiety.
According to Globe, the past couple of years have been very difficult for Britney Spears. After all, she was under a conservatorship with her own father as the conservator.
After several years of battling to get out of the conservatorship, Spears is slowly winning and she’s also starting to become freer. However, this doesn’t mean that she has already let go of all her pent-up anxiety and anger.
Britney Spears undergoes hypnosis multiple times a week
In order to help her deal with her mental health struggles, the singer, allegedly, turned to hypnotherapy. And she undergoes hour-long sessions several times a week.
“They’re helping, but Britney knows she has a way to go before she starts feeling normal again. No matter how much freedom she earns, the misery and pain of what she’s endured will haunt Britney forever,” the source said.
Britney Spears has been trying to get better for years
The insider also claimed that the “Toxic” singer has tried different medications and various forms of conventional therapy. However, nothing worked for her.
According to the source, even the most normal of things makes Spears stressed. Her nightmares have not also gone away, and she’s still struggling.
“For 13 years, she didn’t make a single decision on her own, other people made it for her. Now, she’s independent and wary of the world and so afraid she’s going to mess up,” the source said.
Sam Asghari supports his future wife
Luckily for the singer, she has her fiancé Sam Asghari’s support. The latter has been with Spears even while she was still under a conservatorship.
And after the conservatorship was lifted a few months ago, Asghari immediately proposed to Spears.
The couple is already planning their wedding, but the details are still being kept under wraps.
Rumors debunked
However, one should still take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.
It’s not true that Spears turned to hypnosis to help deal with her anxiety.
But it is most likely true that the past couple of years have not been easy for Britney Spears and her children.
