Mayor of Yongin appointed BTOB’s Eunkwang as an honorary ambassador and talked about his memories with him.
On November 12, Eunkwang received a certificate of appointment as an honorary ambassador of Yongin. In the ceremony, he stated that it was a great honor that the mayor appointed him as an honorary ambassador of his hometown.
Yongin is a major city in South Korea and where he spent his childhood, and he will be doing his best to make Yongin well known.
Mayor remembers him well
At first, Baek Goon Ki, the mayor of Yongin, shared that Seo Eunkwang was born in the city. Eunkwang graduated from his elementary, middle, and high school there. While in school, he competed and won awards in Yongin Dance/Singing Contest.
However, becoming someone who fulfilled his dreams of being a singer and representing Yongin is one of their treasures.
The mayor appointed him as an honorary ambassador of Yongin. His history of preserving and working hard to fulfill his dreams.
He became the leader of a popular group that matches up the image of Yongin in trying new and innovative things.
Also, Baek Goon Ki added that he is happy to appoint BTOB Eunkwang, who represents K-pop as an honorary ambassador of Yongin.
The primary promoter
For the next two years, Eunkwng will be primarily promoting the city’s policies and reinvigorating its festivals, local economy, and culture.
Moreover, He will also be promoting the city’s image by making their tourist destination more well known. The famous landmarks in Yongin are the Holy Land of St. Kim Daegeon and the Yongin Agriculture Theme Park.
Eungkwang used his personal Instagram account to share the news and express his gratitude. In his post, he wrote that it is such an honor to be an honorary ambassador for Yongin.
