As part of the Grammy Awards Charity auction, the BTS members donate their pastel outfits from Dynamite music video.

Scheduled on January 21, the historic Dynamite outfits of BTS would be up for auction.

One of the most note-worthy donations of the septet this year is for the Black Lives Matter movement, where they donated $1 million.

This is only one proof that the group has been pulling out their checkbook and donating money towards various causes.

BTS’s fame with a purpose

This time, the septet opens their performance costume closet to sell their fabulous outfits to benefit a charity.

As reported, RM, Jungkook, Suga, V, Jimin, J-Hope, and Jin have pledged the pastel ensembles from the music video of their super hit song Dynamite Grammy Awards auction.

Furthermore, the said annual charity event will auction the outfits worn by BTS in the final dance sequence of Dynamite music video. Julien’s Auctions MusiCares Charity Relief Auction hosted the event.

The boys’ T-shirts, sneakers, pants, hats, and shirts worn in the music video has been donated. Reuters reported that a conservative estimate of $20,000 to $40,000 for the set is expected in the Julien’s Auctions.

An aid for those greatly impacted with COVID-19

The schedule of the outfits’ auction as announced by Billboard is on January 29, 2021. The proceeds of the auction will also be channeled towards those in the music industry impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak.

Providing a health and human services support system is the main aim of MusiCares.

With BTS’s donation, the president and CEO of Julien’s Auctions Darren Julien, has spoken. She divulged that they couldn’t think of a better way to highlight MusiCares’ work than with this BTS’ contribution with their Dynamite costumes.

BTS, whose shares are groundbreaking music and uplifting messages of hope and optimism, are what the world needs now, she added.

“We Are very thankful to BTS for their special one-of-a-kind items donated for the charity. And whose proceeds will benefit this most urgent initiative,” said the CEO.

The act of love made by the septet is not the first time the group has stepped forward for the Grammys’ Charity Auction.

BTS has also donated custom-made microphones used to set and signed by each member as part of the auction this year. The items achieved a staggering amount of $83,200.
