The world’s most phenomenal K-pop group BTS is going strong on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, shortly a few weeks after the band dropped the Dynamite holiday remix.
The ARMYs add another reason to celebrate the holidays with more cheer as their idols went up running again on the Top 10 of Hot 100 with Dynamite.
The septet’s chart-topping song made its way to the number nine spot of the chart, making its 17th-week reign.
According to Soompi, the impressive finish of BTS’s Dynamite on the prestigious music chart comes in handy the song’s holiday remix version release on December 11.
Furthermore, Billboard’s December 26-dated list of Hot 100 shows Dynamite jumping 15 spots on the chart, from No. 24 last week to number nine.
The Hot 100 is the list of the most popular songs in the US, alongside all music genres.
On top of the remarkable achievement of BTS on the Hot 100, the effects of the song’s holiday remix version are enormous.
With no hesitation, the sales of Dynamite went up to 40,000, an increase of 227 percent. On the other hand, the streams increased to 7 percent to 8.5 million.
The song’s holiday remix’s release helped BTS reclaim a throne on the Top 10 of the Hot 100, leading the band to soar with Taylor Swift on the chart.
Other artists on the list are Mariah Carey, Brenda Lee, Bobby Helms, 24kGoldn, Ariana Grande, and more.
BTS unveiled Dynamite on August 21; the band’s song led them to covet its number one spot on Billboard’s Main Singles chart.
The song also had BTS earn its first Grammy nomination for the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category.
