BTS has inspired Samsung to release a new edition of Galaxy S20. However, the famous Korean boy band is reportedly tweeting from an iPhone.
The K-Pop BTS group, one of the world’s biggest band is currently partnering with Samsung. Samsung is not a stranger to working with worldwide personalities for its flagship phones.
On Sunday, the Korean tech giant unveiled the special edition of Galaxy S20 in a shimmering purple exterior. The Flagship phone is dubbed as “Galaxy S20 Plus BTS Edition”.
The BTS inspired mobile phone also comes with a pair of purple Galaxy buds which perfectly resonates with the image of the popular boy band. Thus, fans are now waiting patiently for its release. Although the purple phone is a limited edition, the tech Korean company will make the device widely available.
BTS used Apple’s iPhone to tweet anniversary message to fans
On Saturday, the popular boy band made an error of using an iPhone to tweet their anniversary message to fans. However, the error was immediately resolved when the group quickly deleted the post and reposting it from an Android device.
However, the fans were able to pick up the tweet and is now being shared on the internet. One fan tweeted:

BTS-inspired Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus details
The device is fully influenced by the Korean boy band. For one, the group’s iconic purple heart logo is found in the camera array. There’s also the BTS logo at the rear portion of the phone. It is also loaded with BTS- themes which is a major attraction for BTS fans.

The Galaxy S20 Plus BTS Edition also features a purple charging case for the Galaxy Buds. Both the case and the earbuds carry the group’s image logo. Hence, both Samsung and BTS fans would be thrilled to use the newest Galaxy S20 edition.
BTS-inspired Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus release date
Samsung will be releasing the device on July 9 as announced on the official Samsung Twitter account. The device will surely arrive in the US and UK. At the same time, the preorder of the handset and the headphones will kick off on June 19. Besides, the products are available at Samsung’s online store and Amazon.
Although the US and UK releases are confirmed, there are no details yet if Galaxy S20 Plus BTS Edition is also available anywhere else. Sharon Hegarty, IM marketing director of Samsung Electronics UK confirmed the phone’s release in the country. She said:
“We’re excited to be teaming up with global superstars BTS, to launch the Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition here in the UK. “The iconic purple heart Edition will add to our growing S20 and Buds+ family, and we hope it will bring joy and entertainment for BTS fans around the world.”
Galaxy S20 Plus BTS Edition price details
As of the moment, it is not yet clear how much the phone would cost if it is bought outside South Korea. However, a rough estimate would price the device at about $1,150, £920, and AU$1,700. On the other hand, the earbuds would roughly sell at about $180, £150, and AU$260.
