BTS continues to “dominate” the international charts.
BTS resumes its domination on various charts following the release of the latest records. Whether it may be group or solo performances, the all-male K-pop group’s work has continued to achieve new milestones every week.
After the massive success of Dynamite, some of the members’ solo records also reach new heights this week, according to Metro. Jungkook and Jimin recently broke new records with their singles.
Jungkook’s achievements for “My Time” and “Euphoria”
BTS’ youngest member, Jungkook became the only male K-pop artist to achieve two streaks on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart. His solos, My Time and Euphoria charted at seventh and 15th spots, respectively. They are also the longest-charting songs by a South Korean idol with the former for 31 weeks, while the latter for 27 weeks.
Since the emergence of Euphoria, fans, particularly the ARMY, have continued to stream the track on various platforms. Earlier this week, Jungkook’s solo became the “most-streamed” K-pop solo on Spotify.
Jimin breaking similar milestones
Jimin, or BTS’ “mochi,” tied with Jungkook’s recent successes. On the Billboard charts, his latest solo, Filter had a similar ranking status with the latter’s Euphoria.
On Spotify, he has now become the first Korean artist who has achieved 100 million streams with two solos. He broke the record following the release of Serendipity, particularly the Full-Length Edition. As for the other single, his 2018 solo, Lie broke its 100 million marks amid the pandemic crisis.

BTS continued success with Dynamite
Earlier in July, BTS surprised their fans when they announced their upcoming single. It became shocking news among the ARMY since they did not plan on releasing a single before the new album.
But, given the circumstances, the K-pop group said that their new “summer song” might be a great way to uplift the spirits of the public. Later in April, they premiered Dynamite.
Since the release of the all-English track, the group has continued to amass massive record-breaking milestones in various charts across the globe. It shattered steaming records, The Atlantic emphasized.
The publication noted that BTS had the biggest YouTube premiere ever with Dynamite as it gathered over 101.1 million views in just 24 hours. They also debuted at the very top of the Billboard Hot 100, making them the first Korean act to achieve the title. Moreover, the all-male K-pop group reached their first-ever record on Spotify as the number 1 song in its Global Top 50 chart.
