After releasing its top picks for its annual The 50 Best Songs of 2020 and appreciating Dynamite, Rolling Stone magazine made Jungkook’s fans melt as they describe the BTS member as the song’s main star.
Rolling Stone recently divulged its list of the 50 best songs of 2020. The American reputable media publication revealed Dynamite as a part of its list, taking the number seven spot. Along with their appreciation for the track, they pointed out Jungkook as the star in Dynamite.
Jungkook taking the lead: Rolling Stone
In its admiration for Dynamite, Rolling Stone calls it “the sound of BTS tapping into the spirit of Eighties disco.”
With the magazine’s statement saying that every BTS members shine, Rolling Stone gave a special mention to Jungkook. They said that the BTS maknae is the main star of the song.
Rolling Stone shared in a statement:
“All the seven members show off although Jungkook takes the spotlight when he yells, ‘Cup of milk, let’s rock and roll/King Kong, kick the drum/Roll on like a Rolling Stone!'”
The maknae’s lines are the best
NME, another renowned western media publication, also picked Dynamite. The outlet also chose the song as one of its favorites for the year through the article “The 50 best songs of 2020.“
In the media publication’s pick, the Grammy-nominated hit is ranked #40. It described the song as a “disco-pop belter which provides the perfect recipe for blasting away the blues.”
The media expressed, “The combo of the stomping beat and Jungkook’s caramel cries ushering in a crescendo that somehow ups the already skyscraping euphoria to even greater heights.”
The publication said the statement praising Jungkook’s beautiful vocals and choosing it part as their “best bit.”
Moreover, the Rolling Stone family seems to be huge fans of Jungkook’s talent. Previously, Jungkook was dubbed by Rolling Stone India as “legitimately one of this generation’s finest performers.” They said in an article on BTS.
