After a booming success of their No.1 single Dynamite, world-empowering musicians BTS are coming to the audience worldwide with their online concert MAP OF THE SOUL ON:E.
Map of the Soul: 7
BTS dropped their first teaser on October 6 and the second on October 7, showcasing a slew of short clips that encompasses their last Album concept.
Due to the prevailing pandemic, the world-leading boy band had to cancel their world tour.
The Album, which comprises their chart-topping performance for songs like Boy with Luv, Make it Right and Magic Shop, will be accessible worldwide.
ON:E Day4 and Day 3 teaser
In the Day 4 teaser, one can witness many callbacks.
RM depicts the shadow and the light. This concept signifies his PERSONA regarding The Wings era. The broken mirrors connect back to the MAMA 2018 VCRs. According to the teaser, one can infer that the septet is hinting about having their solo sets.
In the teaser, mirrors are surrounding the member Jin.
Jimin and V are looking at their reflections in a broken mirror. Consequently, the youngest member, Jungkook, is seen walking with his multiple versions reflecting through the mirror.
Meanwhile, the viewers can see the rapper J-Hope and Suga gazing into their reflections.
The persona of BTS by Carl Jung
Over the years, the Map Of The Soul series has followed the philosophies of Carl Jung. Map Of The Soul: 7 yet again conveys a profound message of having multiple Persona.
Carl Jung’s Aion remarks, “The shadow reflects a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality. Thus, to become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the tone’s personality.”
All about ON:E
From the technological aspects, the concert will showcase in 4K resolution alongside AR and XR’s aid. The aim is to bring viewers more vivid and enhanced content, similar to that of an offline concert.
Besides enhanced theatrical aspects ON:E will be multi-view live streaming, displaying six multi-view screens.
